A love letter to your city
Build a microsite about a place that matters to you.
The brief
Turn the place you love into a website. It doesn't have to be your hometown — it can be the city where you met your best friend, the village where you go every summer, or the one you've only dreamed of visiting.
Show us your favorite streets, the restaurants only locals know about, the photos you took when no one was watching, the sound of the language, the weather. Build it like a love letter. Because it is one.
There are no rules on tech stack. Ship it with Claude Code, Cursor, Bolt, Lovable, v0, or anything else. The brief is: make us fall in love with your city too.
Starter prompt
Copy this into Claude Code, Cursor, Bolt, Lovable, or any AI coding tool to get started.
Build me a one-page website that's a love letter to [CITY NAME]. Include: 1. A hero section with the city name in huge, beautiful typography and a short one-line declaration of love underneath. 2. A "why I love it" section — 2-3 short paragraphs telling a personal story about what the city means to me. 3. A "favorite spots" grid with 5 places I love (restaurants, cafés, parks, hidden corners). Each card has a photo, the name, and 1-2 sentences of why it matters. 4. A "soundtrack" — embed a song or playlist that sounds like the city. 5. A "visit" section with practical info: best time of year, how to get there, one phrase in the local language. 6. A footer with a quote from someone famous about the city (or made up). Use a warm, handmade color palette inspired by the city itself. Pick fonts that match its vibe. Make it feel personal and lived-in, not templated. Fully responsive. Smooth scroll between sections.
